JCG will host it's 1st Annual Basketball Tournament in Clayton County, GA during the month of October. There will be 3 on 3, 3 point shoot out, Slam Dunk contest, old school vs new skool and more! The JCG goal is to award a $1000 scholarship to all 10 high schools in Clayton County. Stay tuned for more information on how you can help and if you want to get in on the game!

Kendra Sims: First JCG Scholarship receipient
Kendra Sims is a North Clayton High School graduate/ Alum. Miss Sims was apart of the Student Government Association, a dual enrollment student (attending both North Clayton High School and Clayton State University), a Varsity Cheerleader, a Future Business Leader of America, apart of the National Honors Society, Elite Scholars Club, Developing Sophisticated Woman's Club, Superintendent Advisory Council, an active volunteer in her community and along with a host of other achievements. She will be attending Auburn University in Fall 2009 to study in the field of Chemistry and Pharmaceuticals.
